Swimsuit shopping is probably my least favorite activity. It’s easily number one with jean shopping coming in at a close second, but alas, with our Mexico trip approaching I knew it had to be done. Luckily for me it was the dead of winter in NYC and I decided to order around 10 suits online that I could try on from the comfort of my own home and ended up keeping 3 of them. So here’s hoping my extensive online research can help you find the cutest suits in half the time.
+ Free People – I love that they have a great “mix and match” selection so I could chose a top and bottom that suited my taste. I ended up picking this off the shoulder top and these bottoms (which I would definitely recommend sizing up on!).
+ Mara Hoffman – Her patterns are always so fun and the cuts are super flattering. There is something for everyone of any body shape and the best part is the adorable matching coverups! I went with this top and these bottoms for a more full coverage suit I could wear and feel comfortable playing with the girls on the beach.
+ Revolve – I was a little nervous about wearing this suit but then I thought to myself, “F it!”. I’m going to be 75 one day wishing I had a butt and legs like I did in my 20’s so there ya have it. This crochet one piece was super full coverage in the front too, so I just threw on a sarong while I had lunch on the beach and felt totally comfortable. They also have a really great selection of bikinis too.
+ Shopbop, Anthropologie, and ASOS are also my other go to’s when I’m running out of ideas. You can always trendy swimsuits and at a great price point on ASOS. Shopbop is a personal favorite for their fast and free shipping and wide variety. And lastly, I never thought of Anthropologie as having some their finger on the swimsuit pulse but this year I’m kind of obsessed with all they are offering.
Did I leave any of your favorites out? Where do you go for your swimsuits?
