The other night I was asked to stop by a fun event on the Lower East Side for a chance preview the latest fall fashion and home trends from JCPenney, crafting with Brit+Co., and meet host Ali Fedotowsky. Well, apart from being a Bachelorette super fan, I was thrilled to go see the latest! Fall is definitely my favorite season for dressing – who doesn’t love a cozy sweater and comfy booties – and I’m more than ready for the weather to change and soak up all that fall has to offer.
To be totally transparent, I hadn’t previously done much shopping at JCPenney, but browsing all of their selections that evening I was totally blown away! My girlfriend was wearing this dress and I swear I thought it was Marni or Phillim Lim. It was so chic and she was getting complimented all night long. And that red faux leather jacket above!? I’ll be wearing that one all fall long. The top I had on is also my new go-to for fall date nights and can you believe it was under $30!?
Apart from just the fashion, the event had so many fun activations! There was a Salon by InStyle station where you could get the perfect hair wave, a Sephora station where you could get the hottest lip trend of the season – a two toned berry lip, a photo booth, and an earring crafting station with Brit+Co. The food was pretty divine too.
I was also able to catch up with my girl Melanie who always looks amazing and has the cutest daughter I’ve ever seen. Go check her out!
The Libby Edelman collection was probably my favorite. I love a good army jacket, neutral booties, and detailed denim. JCPenney totally hit the nail on the head with other favorite fall trends like cute bomber jackets, cold-shoulder blouses, fashion sweatshirts, and velvet.
Another highlight for sure was meeting Ali Fedotowsky. She was such a sweetheart. Totally approachable, down to earth, and has the cutest little girl that was giving me baby fever all night long. We talked about traveling with the kiddos at that age, how to find your “best side” for photos, and her talk at the Fashion Mamas conference in LA.
I had such a fun night and was seriously impressed with the affordable, on-trend, and value of the products JCPenney has to offer. They’ve totally converted me into making JCPenney my one-stop shopping destination for stylish and affordable fashion and beauty merchandise. Be sure to check out all of the amazing fall goodies JCPenney has to offer here!
