While on his morning run, my husband found this amazing stretch of the island that was flanked on either side with these beautiful bougainvilleas and I knew I found the perfect backdrop for this dress. I love exploring a place and trying to find the lesser known areas that aren’t the typical photo spots tourists normally take. It’s my way of getting to know a place and trying to see it from my own unique perspective.

This dress is the perfect vacation ready dress that you can wear as a cover-up to the beach, walking around town, or to a nice dinner. It’s hard to see in the photos but it’s embellished with the most beautiful metallic leaves. And if you haven’t been able to tell from my Instagram posts, I’ve lived in these sandals from Loeffler Randall my entire vacation. They’re the perfect heel height for running around town exploring and chasing my kids without sacrificing on style. I’ll have a whole post coming soon dedicated to this puffy knot style that I can’t get enough of (so stay tuned!).

I also can’t get enough of acrylic bags for this spring/summer season. They’re effortlessly chic and add so much interest to an outfit. This one is from Zara and is a little heavy so I much prefer this one but sometimes cost beats out convenience. I’m also not an earring person but when I put these on my husband said I should wear earrings more often! But I need to know, am I going to get used to the feeling? These felt a little heavy and I was so conscious of them the whole day pulling at my ear.
