What to Pack For A Week Long Ski Trip | Jackson, WY

I’m so excited to tell you guys that this time next week, I’ll be landing in Jackson, Wyoming and I cannot wait to explore everything that Jackson has to offer. One of the biggest highlights of the trip will definitely be skiing. I haven’t been since I was 7 or 8 years old so I may come back a bit black and blue and ego bruised but I’m going to give it my best shot. Best of all, I’ll have my sister along with me so we can at least laugh at ourselves all the way down the hill.

I am also used to cold weather but I had to get prepared for a whole new environment. I’m going to rent my skiis and boots because I’m not sure when the next time I’ll hit the slopes will be, but I did invest in the rest of my own ski gear. So today, I wanted to share with you what I’m packing for my trip!

2018 Goals

Happy New Years friends! That was a much needed break and I couldn’t be happier to be coming back to this space. Walking into this new year, I’m bringing with me fresh ideas and inspiration. I know I talked about making this space something new and maybe not what everyone started following me for to begin with but you’re going to start seeing more of those changes this year and it’s got me really excited.

I can’t believe it’s only 2 more sleeps until Christmas! I’ll be taking the week off to celebrate and spend time with my family. But before I go, I wanted to be able to give you guys all something this Holiday season, so I reached out to my friend Meagan to help me create the cutest printable holiday gift tags to tie up all of your presents with a pretty bow!

These work best if you use card stock. but they’re so easy to cut out and tie with most any sized ribbons or twine.

Easy & Festive Holiday Cookies

One of my favorite holiday traditions is baking Christmas cookies with the girls. There’s usually egg shells mixed in the batter and flour coming out of our ears by the end of it, but we all have a really good time. Well, this year, I thought I’d give something different a try. I saw these cute Halloween cookies that my friend Chrissy made and I did my take on them as Holiday cookies.

It’s as easy as mixing up the Rice Krispies, marshmallows, and some butter and handing out all of the bottles of sprinkles. I followed the recipe on the back of the box, bought some cookies cutters, candy melts, and festive sprinkles. They didn’t turn out as “Instagrammable” as I wanted, but I think that’s kind of the beauty of it. Because the holidays are after all, about being in the moment and

What kind of cookies do you leave out for Santa?

JCPenney Holiday Challenge | A Gift Guide For Everyone On Your List

My Take On The JCPenney #HolidayChallenge And Sharing My Top Picks For the Holiday Season

You guys, the holidays are upon us! We celebrate both Hanukkah and Christmas so gift shopping is really getting down to the wire. Last week, JCPenney invited me to come check out the #JacquesPenne pop-up in SoHo to see if I could take on the #JCPChallenge for beating my holiday budget while still picking up something for everyone on my holiday shopping list. I was skeptical at first for sure. I went in with $200 and tried to pick up something for my sister, my husband, both of the girls, and my mom.

Lo and behold, I was able to walk out with more while spending less than I had thought! They had everything from hot trending items (like the Hatchimal colleggtibles and cozy blankets) to the must-haves (like a great pair of slippers or a delicious scented candle).

So today, I thought I’d walk you through what I was able to buy and some of my favorite gift recommendations that you’re definitely going to have to pick up!
